For the past 20 years, I’ve helped companies find and attract the best people for their key roles.

Time and again, I’ve witnessed the transformative impact the right hire can have on a company.

But I’ve also seen so many companies miss out on exceptional hires because they struggled to reach candidates outside their traditional networks. And I’ve listened to candidates from diverse backgrounds explain the unique challenges they face as they seek to build a career.

WGS was born out of a mission to bridge that gap – helping companies discover the benefits of hiring diversely, while creating real pathways into leadership for talented individuals, regardless of their background.

For me, this isn’t just a career choice; it’s a deeply personal mission to do my part in creating a fairer world.

I’ve always dreamed of changing the world around me – as a child in Romania, I experienced the negative stories that were told about my country, and I wanted to show people just how beautiful it is!

Working first as a grant writer, then running my own coffee shop, I found my purpose: to connect people and create spaces where they can thrive, and to be as useful as I can to those around me.

I’ve worked as a researcher in executive search since 2018. In that time, I’ve placed candidates in the building materials, engineering and technology sectors.

The beauty of my job is developing relationships with so many incredible people. As a researcher, candidates become part of my life – often I’ll spend more time with them than with my family! 

These are the people who motivate and inspire me. Hearing their stories, the passion and hard work they have put in to succeed, is what drives me forward.

Being tasked with finding the right person for a role is an incredible privilege and responsibility. It takes courage to ask the difficult questions and have the deep, honest conversations that help you determine who has the potential to transform a role.
